Flood Buckets Dropoff Point in the Pennyrile

posted on September 04

UMCOR Flood Buckets

Dear sisters and brothers:

The southern part of  the Texas Annual Conference has suffered one of the most catastrophic floods in our nations history.  Christians should respond by loving our neighbors in the name of Christ.  Pennyrile District United Methodist are ready and able to do so. We have been involved in disaster relief before, both locally and around the country and once again we are getting ready to serve.

But we cannot do this alone-we need your help. The first need is for prayer for all those affected. I am asking we put our prayers into action by collecting flood buckets. Below is a list of items that are required for each bucket. The flood buckets can be collected at your local church, they can be taken to Redemption City in Dawson Springs Kentucky 110 East Railroad St.

Please contact our disaster response coordinator Brad Shuck if you have any questions at 270-559-9511
